SEATTLE PRIDE
LOUDER
CLIENT: The Seattle Out & Proud Foundation are the wonderful people behind Seattle Pride.
CHALLENGE: It’s the 51st annual Seattle Pride and the team needed an engaging theme, fun visuals, and some fierce copy.
SOLUTION: A theme that could stand the test of any post-election uncertainty. Vibrant, activist-inspired design that worked in charming collages. Copy that screams we’re here, we’re queer, and we’re not going anywhere.
*** BONUS*** A print ad for the agency in the Seattle Pride magazine!
I WROTE THE COPY FOR SOCIAL GRAPHICS, the T-SHIRTS, the print ad, and milli social.

Louder. No matter what.
We didn’t know what kind of world we’d enter post-election. But we did know that Louder could serve as something between a celebration and a call to action. We also knew LGBTQIA2S+ activism has always been loud and uncompromising given the never-ending fight for equality, and that Pride ultimately exists because of activists. So for the 51st year of Pride, we chose a direction that is unapologetically bold in the face of uncertainty. Taking inspiration from elements of activism and protest like handwritten signs, graffiti, spray paint, and more, this design-driven concept honors the roots and history of how Pride came to be.
